Step One: Window Film Consultation
COMMERCIAL
A professional will come to your business for an on-site consultation to learn more about your property concerns and goals for commercial window tinting. For example, this might be a design consultation for decorative branding window films or a premium safety analysis for commercial security film systems. After our first meeting, we’ll be able to provide you with a comprehensive list of commercial solutions, schedule, and pricing.
RESIDENTIAL
Unless you want custom decorative films installed, we generally bring most films products with us to a home consultation. During the first visit, our contractor will inspect all of your windows and take preliminary measurements, as well as provide samples and pricing at this time. We can then install the film you choose right after the consultation or come back later if desired. It is entirely up to you!
Step Two: Window Film Preparation
COMMERCIAL
We always have you sign off on the films you pick before preparing windows for commercial projects. If you need any special conditions met, such as security clearances, we will have them at this time. Following that, we’ll start the installation with our unique method for commercial projects, which includes rinsing the windows clean with non-toxic solutions and scraping them clean with a razor blade.
RESIDENTIAL
We clean your windows with a razor blade before utilizing our unique procedure to prepare them for home installation. Then you’ll sign off on which materials should be used on each window. We can cut everything to size right on-site, fitting each window with film as we go because we bring our supplies with us. This ensures little material is wasted and that the process is as quick as possible.
Step Three: Window Film Installation
We carefully measure and cut the window films for customized applications during installation. We double-check that all surfaces have been cleaned during this phase. Then, to strengthen both the glass and the window on a molecular level, we use C-Bond2 as a window film primer. C-Bond 2 is an outstanding adhesive that results in faster cure times, greater adhesion, and a more durable film installation.
Post-Installation
We clean all surfaces in the area after we are done to ensure that your place is even cleaner than when we found it. We strongly advise you not to clean your windows for 30 days after installation. The curing process of window film takes time; any disruption might cause the film’s installation to be compromised. Bubbles may form during the natural drying process. They should never be popped because doing so may affect the window film’s performance. If this happens, please contact us right away, and we will take care of it as soon as possible at no additional cost to you.
